Bridal Show Checklist

You’re going to a bridal show!  Here are a few tips to help you prepare and have a successful visit.

Establish your wedding budget ahead of time.

Pre-register and/or buy tickets online at http://www.todaysbrideshows.com.

Plan to spend half of the day there.

Arrive 1 to 1-1/2 hours prior to fashion show time.

Go to http://www.todaysbrideshows.com & download the Show Program.  (available online 2 weeks before the show).   Includes list of exhibitors, floor plan, and itinerary to plan your exhibitor route.

Bring along bridal show buddies:  Think twice about bringing small children – they are sure to tire quickly.  Bring your fiancé, bridal party and/or family.

Be prepared to make decisions and put deposits down on some services

If you can’t attend personally, send your mom or a friend in your place.

Wear comfortable shoes.

Be prepared to wear a “Bride-To-Be” or “Groom” sticker.

Bring a calendar to make appointments.

Bring a pen & paper to take notes.  Jot notes on the exhibitors’ literature to recall important details later.

Bring printed address labels that include your name, address, phone number, wedding date, and e-mail address.

Bring a bag or backpack for all the literature and freebies.

Come with an open mind for all types of wedding services to consider.

Collect information from every vendor (even if you aren’t sure you’ll need it).

Ask lots of questions.

Bring along color swatches.
